Due diligence

In advance of corporate transactions (M&A) or IPOs, it is important to obtain detailed information about the relevant company in order to adequately assess its financial, tax-related and legal circumstances.

We perform financial due diligence with particular emphasis on business plans for the future, based on a comprehensive analysis of the past assets, financial and earnings situation. We also cover in full the areas of tax and legal due diligence.

Tax due diligence especially means identifying tax risks, based on an analysis of past performance. But it also includes a general examination of tax options and risks in relation to organisational possibilities and the planned target structure.

The legal risks of the transaction are examined as part of legal due diligence. All aspects of law relevant to the company are subjected to a comprehensive risk analysis.
